Carb Sync Sequence There is a carb sync sequence that you need to follow. #1 carb is the one you are setting the rest to equal. Adjust the #3 carb to #1, then the #2 carb to equal the rear, then finally the #4 carb to #2. The linkage is attached to the carbs in this sequence, so if you set the #4 carb to #3 first, as soon as you set #2 it will be off. If you have followed this sequence and it still won't equalize, then chances are you have leaking intake boots, that will cause irratic vacuum, plus hanging idle, plus, plus, plus. Dave Dodge – DRP
